#activateBOS: Liquor Licensing Recap for the week 5.4.16 and 5.5.16

Here are the brief updates from liquor licensing for the week.

This week Urban Cantina Inc. dba Urban Cantina located at 76 Salem Street Boston 02113 holder of a 7 day wine, malt, and liqueurs license has petitioned to transfer the licensed business from the above stated to N.E.O. North End Oyster LLC dba North End Oyster (at the same location). On 5.5.16, the board granted the petitioned request.

Jung Enterprise, Inc. dba @Union located at 174 Harvard Ave. in Allston 02134 holder for a (Neighborhood Restricted) Common Victualler 7 Day Malt & Wine License petitioned to change the license classification to a Common Victualler 7 Day Malt, Wine and Liqueurs Beverages license pursuant to the authority contained in Chapter 481 of the Acts of 1994. On 5.5.16, the board granted the petitioned request.

Hot Eastern, Inc. dba Hot Eastern located at 40 Harrison Ave Boston 02111 applied for a Common Victualler 7 Day Malt & Wine License. On 5.5.16, the board chose to deferred their vote for 30 days stating there are no licenses available at this time.

Old Business

The board pulled the petition that was submitted on 3.30.16 per Room For Dessert LLC dba Finale. The group who held a Wine, Malt, and Liqueurs License petitioned to transfer the license and location from 13–19 Columbus Ave. in Boston to E2 Seaport LLC dba by Chloe at 101 Seaport Blvd Boston 02210. The board had previously deferred their vote because the neighborhood process was not complete. The neighborhood stood in written support of the transfer and today the board approved the request.
