#activateBOS: Liquor Licensing Recap for the week of 3.16.16

The following took place at last week’s liquor licensing hearings at City Hall.

On 3.16.16, 361 Hanover street Inc. dba Ben Cotto and located at 361 Hanover Street applied for a 7 day Malt, Wine, and Liqueur License. On 3.17.16 the city licensing board ‘granted’ them a license, but are noted as deferred as there are no licenses available at this time.

The history of their application process is noted below. This is the second license that the board has ‘granted, but deferred due to availability.’ The first being Theo’s Cozy Corner Kitchen located at 162 Salem Street in the North End.

5.26.15 (Initial Application was submitted | 5.27.15 (Deferred) | 12.10.15 (Pulled as Old Business & Again Deferred) | 1.27.16 (Submitted an application for a full 7 day non resticted and transferable license) | 1.28.16 Due to the high body of applications that were submitted this week the board deferred their vote until next week : 2.4.16 Rejected without prejudice by the Board on | 3.16.16 : Submitted another Application LB 143861 for 7 day Malt, Wine, and Liqueur License | 3.17.16: ‘Granted’ a License but deferred because ‘There are none available at this time.”

On 3.16.16, Gideon Toal Management Services LLC dba The Club at BOS located at 300 Logan Airport Terminal C in East Boston, MA 02128 applied for a common victualler 7 day all alcohol airport license. The city board granted them the license on 3.17.16 .

On 3.16.16, Ohm Concession Group dba Currito Burrito located at 100 Logan Airport Terminal A in East Boston applied for a Common Victualler 7 Day Malt & Wine Airport License. On 3.17.16, the city board granted them their request.

Old Business

On 3.17.16, The city licensing board pulled LDJ Development, LLC application. The application was rejected without prejudice because ‘There are no licenses available at this time.”
