The Workout

--

Hosted by: KillerBoomBox, Xperience Creative & Jasmine Rae

Once a month, comedy club Laugh Boston is transformed into one of the hottest networking sites for musical creatives. This free event features both established and up-and-coming DJs, electronic artists and producers hand selected by local music site KillerBoomBox. Each performs a short set. There’re also “open tables” that allow anyone to step up and show off their skills in a casual atmosphere- creatives also bring laptops to easily connect and network with each other.

The next Workout goes down July 25th.

Dutch Rebelle

Dutch is Boston’s prodigal daughter when it comes to the rap game. This Haitian-born, Boston-bred rapper has been destroying her competition since she first entered the music scene. Most recently, Dutch was contender for XXL’s Freshmen 2016 Class after dropping her much-anticipated EP Kiss Kiss this past September. A recent video for the track “Mix It Up” shows Dutch and her crew partying in Miami but outside of the club scene that’s so readily glorified in music culture. Her down-to-earth nature and unique flow is exactly why she has a rapidly growing fan base. She also began her #TextDutch campaign, which invites fans to text feedback about her performances and projects.
