Afrobeats Dance Boston// Free Afrofusion Dance Class (All Ages)

Roots.Arts.Culture Festival

“ OWR RAC presented by Organixx World Radio is a Roots, Arts and Culture Festival designed to bring together the residents of Boston and those in the surrounding areas – for one day – to celebrate and cultivate the many talents that exist in our neighborhoods and appreciate the diversity that creates such unique expressions of various forms of Visual, Literary and Performing Arts.

We believe that true Roots and Culture Music is a universal language and a fundamental element that has the power to implant proper values, encourage positive and insightful thinking and has often bridged the gap between nationalities while eliminating phobias and myths. We intend to develop and improve minds through education, training, responsible leadership and organization delivered with a grassroots approach.”

That’s why our movement needs creative tactics to reach the hearts and minds of our audience. In this interactive workshop, we’ll share different ways to incorporate culture in our organizing.

Screenings in the Garden: The Pineapple Diaries

“Join us in a celebration of Jamaica Plain through film as we follow the adventures of the cast of the comedic mini-web series, the Pineapple Diaries. We will screen three episodes this evening.

The series is the brainchild of JP native, Paloma Valenzuela, and most of the scenes are beautifully shot in many corners of our neighborhood.”

Fishbowl Night Out- Boda Borg

“ Boston’s best low-structured networking event goes on the road. Brilliant minds, creative artists, hard working entrepreneurs and awesome people will meet at Fairmount Innovation Lab (594 Columbia Road, Dorchester). Together we’ll carpool/uber over to Boda Borg Boston. Boda Borg is a real life questing game. At Boda Borg we’ll work together to combine mental and athletic prowress to escape from challenging rooms and find our way to victory.”
