StormCrown Taka!?!
Stormcrown Taka has been on the rise in the Vainglory community as well as in VGL, such as in the semi-finals on the NA Summer Championships, but why?
Stormcrown Taka can be the most devastating early game build if used correctly. So let’s go over how we should go about using and directing our storm crown Taka.
Early game: The early game approach is simple farm, farm, and farm. We want to begin our build with a Swift shooter and Boots on our first run around in the jungle.
Stormcrown Taka is an early game Snowball build you want to steal as much farm as possible to rush straight into your Stormguard Banner and Tension Bow.
Early Game Build:

StormCrown Taka!?!
Mid-game: Our Build should shift into finishing our Stormcrown and building our support items. Your build should change depending on the enemy however your first support item should be Fountain of Renewal followed up by a counter item. Example: Atlas Pauldron for high attack speed heroes like Krul.
Mid-game Build:
Finally our late game should build into a Bonesaw or a Tornado Trigger this is to help ensure you are staffing and taking all of your enemy’s farm even if they are watching ;). Follow up with Halcyon Chargers (hopefully by this point you have won the game)
Endgame Build:
Reasoning: Weapon power Stormcrown Taka is more advantageous to Crystal power Stormcrown due to Taka’s passive and gaining on hit movement speed to chase opponents or to withdraw from fights as well as stealing farm from the enemy while even in their presence. This is used to snowball the enemy and win games early.
Game Play: As Weapon-Stormcrown Taka early game Taka will be dishing out a decent amount of damage due to our Tension Bow choice. The item falls off mid to late game but we use the Stormguard we bought early in order to steal farm in order to Staff (keep the opponents at low level and low farm) the enemy team while your Laner gathers enough gold to push turrets down, ensuring that you win every team fight, you buy support items, within this I would include Bonesaw as a support item due to armor shred allowing basic attacks to do more damage for you and your allies. As you deal damage to enemies and push your enemies into lane you force fights and use your attack speed to Taka’s advantage using his passive to create speed boosts on hit to draw fire and to withdraw and enter combat quickly and efficiently. Winning the game early by out farming and outsmarting your opponent makes this build viable in high and low tier game play.
I hope that you have learned a little something about our Stormcrown Taka! See you in Fold.
