Joining the sustainable circular economy with is a win-win proposition where all those involved benefit by helping the environment while also driving growth by tapping into a significant area of market demand. Here’s a quick summary of what’s what and how partners can offer sustainability as a service to their customers.

Everyone’s super keen these days to do their bit for the environment and make their business more sustainable. There are some great opportunities for IT Channel partners to offer recycling and renewable options to their customers and end users. But like any new market, it’s not always easy to gain access and customers are looking for support from their IT channel partners and distributors to help them get involved in the circular economy.

What is the circular economy?

The circular economy is a new and refreshing approach to product lifecycles. Instead of the making a product, using it, and then disposing it lifecycle we’ve got so used to the old traditional linear economy, we use that product again in the circular economy.

Using a product again — getting more ‘out of it’, if you like — keeps it in the economic cycle, hence the term ‘circular economy’.

Before we look at your sustainability options, take a moment to appreciate Tech Data’s level of commitment to sustainability
