TE-FOOD partners with Bauer to extend blockchain based traceability with waste management solutions

As authorities in a growing number of countries require animal waste management to be properly planned, executed and documented, as well as to consider environment-friendly technologies and methodologies to be applied, this change brings a lot of opportunities for farmers. Sustainable waste management methodologies are important for the consumers, and farmers can gain brand recognition by implementing and communicating it to their buyers.

TE-FOOD signed a cooperation agreement with Austrian waste management technology producer Bauer to work together to combine Bauer’s waste management technology and knowledge, with TE-FOOD’s blockchain based traceability experience.

The parties will cooperate to build and provide consultancy and solutions in waste treatment and management for livestock farms, helping them to handle their waste in a sustainable and environment-friendly way, and promote these practices by bringing the information to the consumers and related state authorities, helping the farm owners differentiate their brands.
