Hi, it’s the seventh idiom to be published today.

“榷酒征茶"

"Impose tax on alcohol and tea”.

As I have explained in previous articles, tea is very daily item to civilian. If the King intents to or already does impose tax on alcohol and tea, it is obviously too much disturb civilian’s life. In ancient age, the King would be accused as tyrant and will be recorded in history if having ridiculous policy. To impose tax on tea is one of the kind for sure.
