A Winter Wetland Walk
Sunshine, blue skies, and birds
New Year’s Eve was the perfect day for a walk. After a week of snow and wild weather, we finally had a blue sky and sunshine. The wind was calm, too. My husband and I decided to start the day with a walk through Jake’s Wetland and Wildlife Meadows in Carson Valley, a 20-minute drive from our house.
