This flower appeared on Monday. It had the look of Cow Parsley. I think this is gift from the birds who nest in the honeysuckle above. I have no memory of ever planting anything like this.

Birds have really enjoyed my garden this summer. The silver birch is maturing, giving bugs to feed on. I often see birds fly into the branches. They flit from tree to tree and this year have my archway to sing from too.

Notice the tiny oak tree in bottom right-hand corner. I must contact the council to see if it can have a home somewhere in the town.

These gorgeous blue flowers appeared this week too. I don’t remember what they are. The trailing plants are periwinkle. I have some growing up the arch. It is doing well. Blue and purple feature a lot in my garden.

This jasmine is climbing the arch well. After I initially clipped it to the pole, it just winds up by itself. The flower is a pretty star…
