Wild Tricks from Our Ancestors

We have a new prompt! Let’s celebrate 2022 by looking back at the wild (and wise) tricks of our ancestors. We’ve borrowed the idea from a Shakespearean quote.

For treason is but trusted like the fox, Who, never so tame, so cherished and locked up, Will have a wild trick of his ancestors.

There are many who shout of “progress” and “looking forward” but we have a lot to learn from looking back and either bringing back the old or happily avoiding historical mistakes. So whether we are considered traitors to the modern age or not… let’s look back, bring forward and prosper!

Interpret the prompt as you will, fiction, nonfiction, how to, tips, suggestions, listicles, poetry, we’ll publish them all!

When you’re done, please submit to Tea with Mother Nature and tag “wild tricks”. If you’re yet to become a writer, here are our submission guidelines, read and comment to be added:
