What’s your name & role at Teachable?

I’m Angela Song (she/her), and I’m the Community Manager at Teachable!

What does being part of the Women of Teachable ERG mean to you?

I love being a part of this ERG that empowers and supports self-identified women. It means being part of company that validates your identity and the nuances that come with it. I especially find it meaningful to connect with other women who I’m able to support and get support back.

How has the ERG impacted your time at Teachable?

This ERG has helped me feel safe and supported during my time at Teachable, especially around the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

What’s something you’re really proud of in the ERG?

I love how there are women in different level of experiences, from C-suite to managers.

Who is your favorite Teachable creator currently? Alternatively, is there anyone you think would be a great Teachable creator?

It’s hard to pick a favorite as I’ve met so many great creators. I believe everyone has the skills and talent to be a great teachable creator. Everyone holds at least a nugget of knowledge on any topic and it’s worth sharing. Cheering you on, future course creators!
