Convincing Students Going to College is a Smart Investment is Much More Challenging in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Higher education has a new competitor in town, one that is freely accessible to anyone with a computer and internet connection.

AI For Learning: Should Students Use It To Study?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generation AI (GenAI) technologies are maturing and evolving and adapting far more rapidly than anyone had originally anticipated.

As news of the arrival of ChatGPT began to hit the agendas of faculty assembly meetings across the country, most academic started to panic. With such a powerful tool within easy access to MANY students — not all…big and important fact to note — any faculty member that was already suspicious of student work went full conspiracy mode. While others embraced the technology and began adapting their curriculum to meet the needs of a changing and evolving student body.

Most members of the academic community fell along this spectrum in some capacity depending on their access to resources like professional development, conferences, workshops, and other trainings hosted by non-institutional bodies.

Sidebar: Few things are more awful to experience than a administrator with a background in business “sell” AI to a group of educators for 75-minutes.
