The Guild is hitting the road! We’re headed to OETC’s IPDX2016 in Portland and then bouncing to Austin for SXSWedu! So — we thought — perfect time for a …. Sprintsation! That’s right! We’re kicking off a Sprintsation on: How might we inspire our students to be makers every day?
The Sprintsation is all about sharing your best Maker Projects for the chance to win a MakerSpace Inspiration Kit put together by our partner One Workplace and a full course offering from IDEOu! This is your chance to show it off and get inspired!

Research on the Road: 4/25–4/26. Share your insights with the community. Do an interview, share your stories, empathize with what it feels like to be maker.
Tweet up 1 + 2: Thursday, 4/25, 3:15- 4:15pm PST and 4:30–5:30pm PST: Don’t have a chance to attend our OETC IPDX2016 session? You can join the conversation on Twitter with #InspireMakers. Hear about the research teachers are doing in our session and get a window in!
Talent Show: Share Your Maker Projects: 4/26–3/6. Add your favorite Maker Projects you’ve done with students on the www.teachersguild.org ! Show it off for your chance to win One Workplace’s MakerSpace Inspiration Kit and a full course offering from IDEO U! Plus, favorite ideas from this phase will be prototyped at SXSWedu!
SXSWedu: Prototype: 3/7 — Shortlisted ideas from the Talent Show phase will be highlighted and prototyped at SXSWedu! Want your idea highlighted? Make sure to share your favorite Maker projects in our Talent Show phase!
