“It took me 17 years and 114 days to become an overnight success.” — Lionel Messi

“Overnight success” is a term seldom applied in life: To go from 1 to 100, you must go through all the 99 stages in between. Companies know this, and they try to get ahead in the race by improving themselves at full tilt. And in that process, they loosen their ties with their most important assets: their employees. Incentives work, but in the long-run they fail to create an atmosphere of ‘togetherness’. Engazify was formed with this basic idea of employee motivation and appreciation, with each person getting appreciated for their work so they have the motivation to perform better the next time.

Needless to say, when we launched our web application, we got a pretty good response from many users since employee recognition & engagement was a critical factor to aim at, and we did a perfect job at getting the team motivated & happy. Eventually we started receiving quality feedback from our users. The one which caught our eye was — Slack integration. Many of our early customers were using Slack for day to day team collaboration activities, and they loved Slack. Somehow they wanted the Engazify experience right inside slack. This made us think.

Here is one of the many emails that we received during this period,

We as a team take customer feedback very seriously, and thus made sure that we give our Slack user community something they will love. Although we found some feasible ways, they didn’t seem too convenient for people to use. We decided to give our customers more than what they were expecting from our end. We wanted them to stay in Slack and experience Engazify like they had never done before. And we found the perfect solution to that — A bot: a software that is designed to automate the kinds of tasks you would usually do on your own.

AI powered bots are the next big thing: One of the most influential things happening in the technological world today. Building a bot is huge! Slack acknowledges this, which is why they decided to invest $80 million in their platform to help teams build awesome slack bots. Bots not only eases the task by reducing a significant amount of manual efforts but also makes it a lot more fun. Slack being the biggest platform currently for team collaboration, is also a huge platform for bots as they are a huge value addition to its growing community. This is why building our very own slack bot seemed a very good value proposition that we could provide to our awesome users on Slack.

We are working on an innovative concept for our slack bot, and calling it as Engazify Bot. In simple terms, it is an AI powered bot which will make it easier & fun for you to appreciate your teammates and it will automatically capture all your team wins & in the process keep the team motivated & happy. And did I tell you, everything on Slack, the platform everyone loves using. This way users get what they wanted and the added ease of a bot makes it even better.

Engazify Bot makes the idea of happy teams possible. It will make you rethink employee engagement all over again. To know how it works, stay tuned for more updates from our end! Here is a sneak peek of what we are building,
