The day to migrate your Kuji tokens to mainnet is finally here! Thank you for your overwhelming support during this time, we are super excited to show you what we’ve built. In case you missed the Twitter announcement, we have postponed trading on FIN until the 5th of July to work with Axelar on providing the best bridging experience possible. A guide detailing this process will be made available soon, and we appreciate your patience in this matter.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE MIGRATIONS CAN ONLY HAPPEN AS LONG AS IT REMAINS POSSIBLE FROM A TERRA TECH PERSPECTIVE. WE CAN’T GUARANTEE HOW LONG THIS WILL BE THE CASE FOR.
Protecting Yourself From Scams
Before we begin the guide, we recognise that this could potentially be a period where scammers will attempt to take your Kuji tokens from you. With that in mind, here are some things you can do to protect yourself from bad actors:
Safe Links
The only links that are from Kujira and therefore are safe to use are:
Seed Phrase
This process does NOT require a seed phrase. Your seed phrase grants full access to your wallet, and only scam sites/pop-ups will ask for it. Please make sure you keep your seed phrase safe, and never enter it during this migration process.
Support From The Kujira Team
Kujira admins will never call you or send you private messages first. If you receive any messages from the “Kujira team” please forward their telegram to one of the admins in the Telegram chat so that we can ban them. Admins can be found with a label next to their username such as “Team Kujira” or “Kujira Fren” as seen below:
There is no “Support” or “Help Desk”. If you do need assistance, drop a message in the Telegram and do not click any suspicious links.
Finally, there are no bonus airdrop events, so anyone claiming to provide them is trying to scam you too. Your safety is of utmost importance to us, so be vigilant and follow these safety warnings to protect yourself.
Keplr Wallet
To begin the migration process you will need a Keplr wallet extension that can be installed here.
Migrate
Next, go to https://blue.kujira.app/migrate to begin the migration process.
Step 1 is to download and install the Keplr wallet. Once installed and configured with a new wallet, reload the page and click “Connect Wallet” on the top right of your screen.
Step 2 of the migration process is to add Kujira’s “kaiyo-1” mainnet network to your Terra wallet extension. Open the Terra extension, press the cog icon in the top right, then click “Manage networks” and “Add a network” to connect your wallet to the migration network. Then add the details as per https://blue.kujira.app/migrate.
Step 3, with the Kujira Migration Network added, connect your Terra wallet by clicking on the button to populate the fields. Once connected, you will see your snapshot balance. If all looks good, you simply need to click the “Transfer” button and sign the transaction that pops up from your Terra wallet extension.
Staking
The final step is to stake with your favourite validator(s) here https://blue.kujira.app/stake. What is the incentive to stake? Through staking $KUJI, you earn a portion of our revenue and help to secure the network. As a reminder, leave some Kuji tokens in your wallet for gas when utilizing the network.
* You will earn staking revenue whilst you are staked on TestNet. All $KUJI revenue earned in this TestNet phase will be airdropped to you when we go live on MainNet. It’s also important to note that staked $KUJI is not liquid at this point, but we will be looking at various options regarding this over the next few weeks. The unstaking / unbonding time is 14 days, but you can instantly re-delegate to a different validator at any time.
