“The green sea turtle is the largest of seven species of sea turtles, and lives in tropical waters all around the world. Like other sea turtles, they migrate long distances between feeding grounds and hatching beaches and are listed as endangered.
This year’s winner was greeted by a happy Hawaiian green turtle, which population have made a remarkable comeback lately thanks to conservation efforts and habitat protection.” — Fabien Cousteau
