“When I originally founded Team Skyline out of my shop ten years ago, it started as a youth outreach program. Advancement through education has always been at the core of the mission,” says team owner Ryan DeWald.

“To have a rider graduate the best university in the country is a huge accomplishment for us, and we are excited to have young riders like Andrew ride and interact with local Reading youth to inspire them to work and study hard. Cycling careers last years, whereas an education lasts a lifetime. Whether its advocating for diabetes or working with disadvantaged youth, community interaction is at the core of the Team Skyline foundation. Andrew is just one of many riders on the program with a unique story and a passion for interacting with others.”

Andrew Scott of Morristown, NJ, graduated Princeton University on June 4, 2019, with a degree in French Language and Literature. Andrew hopes to use this degree to continue his racing career, and of course, help the team with any language barriers that may arise racing in Europe, or more pressingly, in French Canada, where Team Skyline will race the Grand Prix Cycliste de Saguenay and the Tour de Beauce this month.
