Convert your own imagination into vector
As a vector artist I am using Illustrator as my major tool and most of my arts are based on Pen tool and all the drawings are made using a mouse.
Today I will guide you to create your own imagination and transfer it into vector drawing.
Ideas are always with you no matter what situation or place, When you get an idea or imagination just sketch it somewhere. That is the initiation of your drawing . So do not let them to loose. Capture it and Save it in your brain!
Now you have your imagination on a paper. So you can start your next step. Transfer the sketch image into your PC and import it into Illustration software.
Now you have your sketch in Illustrator and you can start drawing. Normally I am using pen tool to get the shapes. First you can draw the rough shapes and fill some colors into them. In this case, you don’t need to follow the sketch path exactly. Use your own angles and methods to get the idea to make more realistic.
When you are done with basic shapes, now it’s time to add shadows, gradients and extra things to make the drawing more realistic. You can use your own creativity and ideas here as well to make it much better.
Now you have your idea in a nice creative stylish manner. You can add the background and surrounding to make it more attractive. Use some references to get some ideas and try to make your own things. (Always remember to maintain the surrounding and subject into a single theme )
And finally you have your own imagination in vector illustration drawing.
Always try to use your imaginations and ideas ( Doesn't matter if you get some ideas from references ) . You have your skills with you. Just need a little push of practice.
