As we see many success stories coming from the underprivileged section of society like the story of Dabbawalas, Momos Vendor at Hauz Khas, Indori Poha Wala and many more. Here are some amazing things we can learn from their way of doing business:

1) Stand with your Customer:

This is really a REAL LESSON. Most of the startups are so busy in building the product that they forget to make a connection with their customers. Relationship Building is the key to sales. Many times it happens that we all love to sit in our offices and hope for customers to come. Where as real sales happen when we go out, sit with our customers and discuss. Community Building is a way to it, Installing stalls in Fairs is another. Social Media is also a strong way out. Employing Public Relation Officers also help. To select the best of alternatives, figure out where your audience is. For eg. If you are in Healthcare sector, reach out with a canopy at places where people go for a morning walk.

2) Serve what is needed:

When on streets, people love to eat things which are handy enough to be held in one hand and eaten by other. They expect because it is on streets, it is of low cost. Big ice cream selling giants introduced good range of chocolate bars and many other products with lowest of prices. Serve what is needed. If you will serve Cheese Burst Pizza to a heart patient, he won't feel delighted ever. Quality is a relative term. It is not compulsory to delivee the highest quality everytime.

3) Low investments can bring you High Revenues:

Bootstrapping is not a bad option. It is a real good option. Starting with low investments can really get you high revenues and profits in near future. If the action plan is designed precisely and a good time is invested in it, there is a way out to your every problem. Start with baby steps and keep patience within you. Slow and Steady wins.

All we can do is learn from people around us. Everyone is unique, and everyone has an idea within. Every one can help you grow. Everyone.
Keep Learning !
