In our DAO, stakeholders are those holding the $TEAM token, which is used to create and vote on governance proposals that help guide T.E.A.M. forward. Our stakeholders do not have to participate in our day-to-date operations, but there are plenty of individuals and organizations that do.

Scholars

Scholars are play-to-earn game players who entered our guild’s scholarship program. Through a selective recruitment process, we ensure skilled players become part of the guild and are provided assets to perform better at the games they excel on.

To become a T.E.A.M. DAO scholar players will have to go through a rigorous process that ensures their performance in play-to-earn games will be on the DAO’s level. As of March 2022, these tests are not yet available to the public.

Scholars are interested in T.E.A.M. DAO because of provided performance incentives and the community engagement, which allows them to have fun they would simply not get in a solo experience.

Owners

Scholars are supported by owners. These are investors who provide the assets get a cut of a player’s earnings in the game in return for these assets. To facilitate the connection between both and develop the scholarship process, T.E.A.M. DAO gets a cut that is then used according to community governance proposals.

Owners can invest directly in scholars from a wTEAM NFT. These NFTs are wrapped tokens containing a tokenized version of the scholar and the assets they use to perform in play-to-earn games.
