After three years in the industry, Team Glasses, LLC. looks for the most promising projects that are raising the standard in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. We look for projects that not only take the technical and legal side of crypto seriously but have mature brands that are looking to break into the blockchain sector. There are several projects we support on a personal level that are striving to bring the crypto sector into a professional and sustainable light.

Enter Atari Token

One of the top projects we see coming our way is Atari Token. We love Atari Token not only for its legendary brand, but they way the Atari Token Team has come together to make an elite project that combines legacy, sustainability, and true passion for the sector.

Ask any gamer for a list of the most influential game companies, and Atari is sure to be close to number one. They launched their Video Computer System (VCS) back in 1977, changing the gaming world. They might not be as big as they once were, but all that is about to change. Atari is about to become THE name in decentralized, blockchain gaming.

Earlier this month at London Fintech Week Daniel Doll-Steinberg, co-founder of the Atari Token & Platform Network, gave a keynote address entitled “Shaping the Atari Project.”

Dan spent 17 years as a tech entrepreneur, started numerous companies, and served as an advisor to the EU Commission. All in all, he’s a pretty savvy guy, so when he became involved with blockchain in 2016, he identified seven key points to look for before participating in a token sale.

1. Team
Who is on the team and do they have the experience necessary to build the platform?

2. Funding
How are they raising money, and is it an appropriate amount?

3. Mechanic
How will the token be used and what is the sale process?

4. Regulatory
Who are the lawyers and what jurisdiction are they in?

5. Corporate Governance
How is the company managed from the outside?

6. Financial Rigor
How will finances be managed from the inside?

7. Product
Finally, look at the product itself and what this company is trying to build.

Most blockchain participants already know this and are sure to do their research, but perhaps you want to know is this:

Will Atari token be worth my time?

In short: Yes it is. But please, do not take my word for it.

Atari Token has four co-founders, Daniel Doll-Steinberg being one of them. Ron Dimant, lifelong gamer, and Anthony Di Iorio, co-founder of Ethereum, are two more. Finally, Atari rounds out the founders, offering their trusted brand recognition and experience. Having more than enough tech experience and dedication to the project plus working with a co-founder of Ethereum (!) makes this a veritable dream team for a gaming token.

Not only that, but all the board members and industry specialists have experience in the gaming space.

Atari: A Brand You can Trust

All that industry knowledge is great, but for a token to truly be successful, the company has to have the right lawyers following all the regulations and requirements that come with crypto. Atari token is incorporated in Gibraltar and has lawyers all over the world, particularly there and in the US. They are sure to follow all security laws, operating under a Purchase Agreement.

Atari token maintains strict rounds and follows a structure just like any other company, blockchain or not. They have completed the Founder’s Round and are now starting their private sale. The public or main sale will happen in 2019. They have a strict series of events that happen after the initial contact culminating in KYC/AML/Accredited Investor status.

In short, Atari token is crossing all their t’s and dotting all their i’s, and it looks like they will have a great product on their hands. They are definitely a company to watch in the coming months and years as, once again, they revolutionize the way we game.
