If you’re someone who always has a list of places you liked and places you want to go, you’re going to love the new trick Ozlo learned this week. You’ve always been able to tell Ozlo your favorite places and retrieve them later. But now, you don’t even need to remember which places you’ve asked Ozlo to remember, because he’ll remind you about them automatically!

How to Tell Ozlo Your Favorite Places

Anytime you’re talking to Ozlo about a specific place, you can ask him to remember it for you. Do it whenever you visit a restaurant that you especially liked or when you hear about a place that you want to try. I use it when Ozlo recommends a place I think might be great but I can’t try at the moment.

Seeing Your Favorites Again

You can always see your favorites just by asking Ozlo to “Show me my favorites”. But, why do that when Ozlo can just remind you of your favorites automatically? Whenever you look for a place to eat that matches your favorites, Ozlo will now remind you of it. He still orders his recommendations based on how well the place fits what you were asking for, but your favorites will rank higher.

There’s nothing quite like craving pork spare ribs only to have your AI remind you of a place you loved in Chinatown last year happens to be known for them.

This is just one small example of how using a personal AI can improve on all sorts of features we expect from our phones. We’ll be teaching Ozlo to use your favorites and other preferences in more new and interesting ways soon.
