Hatchworks (spectre.ai) — Linking your MEW (and other wallets) with MetaMask.
This guide will teach you how to connect your MyEtherWallet to MetaMask so you could use the MetaMask plugin to withdraw earned dividends from Spectre.ai Rewards Portal.
Please note while this guide focuses on MEW, you can import many other wallets into MetaMask, if you have the wallet’s private key or encrypted JSON file. Please bear in mind that the import success is not guaranteed by us.
Step 1
Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/#view-wallet-info and log in to your wallet. Make sure View Wallet Info (1) at the top is selected. Click on the eye icon (2) at the lower right side and copy your wallet’s Private Key.
Step 2
Go to https://metamask.io/ and follow the on-screen instructions to install the MetaMask plug-in.
Step 3
Find the MetaMask plug-in from the top right corner of your browser and click on it.
Step 4
Enter a new password and select Create, if you have not used MetaMask before or just log in to your existing MetaMask vault.
Step 5
If you created a new MetaMask vault, write down the seed phrase and select I’ve copied it to somewhere safe.
(Optional: You can save the seed word as a file for back-up, but please store it in a safe place)
Step 6
Select the indicated icon (1) at the top right of the MetaMask module and select Import Account (2).

a) Importing with a Private Key:
Make sure you have Private Key selected from the drop-down menu. Enter your Private Key to the blank field and select Import.
b) Importing with a JSON Keystore file:
Make sure you have the JSON File selected from the drop-down menu. Click on the indicated button (1), find the JSON Keystore file on your computer, enter the password (2) for that JSON Keystore file and select Import (3).

Step 8
You will now see the imported account in the MetaMask module.
Please be very careful with managing browser add-ons and plug-ins as there are altered ones on the marketplace that are designed to steal your data. Always keep your passwords, private key’s and seed phrases in a safe place!!!
Important note: You will need to have the MetaMask Privacy Mode Turned off before using MetaMask with the Rewards portal.
