Hatchworks (spectre.ai) — Spectre.ai to launch real-money, private-beta — reserve your place!
Spectre.ai has announced that its financial trading platform/prediction market shall go live in private-beta mode (real money), on midnight of March 31, 2018. As part of the previous communicated ramp-up, platform access will be limited to only 100 traders for the month of April 2018 as part of an invite-only private beta ‘stress-test’. This means it is not open to the public and will be tested with real money and trading conditions across cryptos, FX and other asset classes for the first month.
Spectre CMO, Hitesh Juneja commented: “We are very pleased to announce this stress-test to ensure the platform scales up smoothly and keeps up with our forecast targets for the year and possibly, even well beyond. Along with our ongoing bounty with HackerOne, we are ensuring security and that the entire trade process which is built on a range of Ethereum smart contracts, works smoothly. This rigorous testing is in keeping with Spectre’s professional approach to all security and technical concerns as we begin scaling globally this year.”
Purpose of the Stress Test
This period will allow traders (except those based in the U.S) to test our automated KYC, trade, withdrawal and other core and non core functions of the platform and communicate back any glitches/improvements that can be made, prior to us opening the flood gates in May. This stress-test is ‘real-money’, so use proper precautions and onboard risk management when trading.
The Bounty and How to Participate
To support this private-beta, we are giving two types of cash prizes, $5,000 for the trader who generates the most volume in April and $50-$250 per glitch for the traders who identify and communicate these to us. Before the initiative goes live we will be announcing how users will be able to report these to SPECTRE.ai. Please note that this is a complimentary activity to the Bounty Program currently running with HackerOne.
