How cool is it, to have an internal problem and be able to produce a solution not just for ourselves, but for others as well? Six months after launching Teamtracker, we sat down to reflect on where we started and where we are now.

As Teamtracker’s business developer, I think it’s important to constantly stay in touch with our users to find out their opinion and expertise of our time registration tool. Their feedback constantly motivates us to keep improving our tool. By doing so, we are able to fit the tool to the needs and wishes of both existing users and target customers.

“Though excited about the integration, we noticed a lot of our client didn’t continue using our tool after the free trial. This is the point where we started to collect feedback.”

Customer-centric tool

During the development of Teamtracker, we’ve seen a lot of people come and go. Though excited about the integration, we noticed a lot of our client didn’t continue using our tool after the free trial. This is the point where we started to collect feedback. A lot of feedback. Having gained insights on the pro’s and con’s of Teamtracker over the last six months, three highly demanded we didn’t have yet had come to our attention.

Teamtracker is a Teamleader CRM integration. If you don’t use the CRM yet, you can try out the project management tool to get familiar with Teamtracker.

Requested features

Of course, we want the tool to fit the needs of our (future) clients. After finding out the most requested features, we set out a roadmap to optimize our tool. How? We updated Teamtracker by adding those highly demanded features. To introduce you to them, we listed them and the way they work below.

1. Time tracking on task-level

The possibility to track on task-level was by far the most requested feature. Teamleader’s project management tool works with a calendar you can fill up with to do’s. Instead of finding a project and filling in your own description, users of Teamtracker can now select the exact tasks they’re scheduled for. Besides being much easier when it comes to tracking time, managers get more precise insights on workflows and spent hours.

2. Switching between projects

We want our time registration tool to be as easy to understand, intuitive, and user-friendly as possible. Especially for companies working on several projects, it simply has to be easy to switch between projects during the day. Just like tracking time on task-level, you can easily start, pause, and continue tracking time whenever you’ve started on a project and/or task.

3. An active application

Our Teamtracker engineer Dominique Netters picked up on the third most demanded feature: “Forgetting to track time is a common thing. That’s why we invented this great feature allowing Teamtracker to constantly be visible and active. After starting Teamtracker, it won’t sneak away from your desktop unless you quit the tool yourself. The recognizable icon is now always there to remind you of filling in your timesheets.”

We’d love you to try out the newly added features yourself. Visit the Teamtracker website to start your 14-day free trial to get familiar with Teamtracker and the way it eases the way you manage your timesheets.

If you already use the tool or finished the free trial, don’t shy away from sending us requests or feedback so we can keep improving the Teamtracker experience.
