Meet One of Our First Users
At Teamtracker it is our mission to make tracking time efficient and fun. But we also love to get in contact with you as our users and hear about your stories about clear insights on work hours and optimal team productivity.
Culd. is one of our first Teamtracker users since the launch in May 2018. You could say they have a special place in our heart. We decided to get in touch with Steffan, a full-stack developer at culd. and the person who decided to stop tracking time the traditional way and join Teamtracker.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t quickly cross the long distance from the eastern part of Holland to Turnhout, Belgium. So we got our own cups out of the cupboard and met up for a ‘digital coffee’ over a conference call. This way Steffan could tell us some more about the way they integrated Teamleader & Teamtracker into the everyday working life at culd.
First, let us introduce you to culd.
Culd. is a Belgian agency in online and offline communication. They work on projects from logo and web design to branding and website development. The dedicated team currently exists of three members which all have their own specialty in either development, marketing or graphic design. They value tailored products. Despite their relatively small team culd. is able to offer clients a wide range of custom-made solutions. Working on different projects and tasks for several clients is not uncommon in their everyday work.
Working smarter with Teamleader CRM
Steffan explains us that culd. works on project, or sometimes even on hourly, basis. It is important for them to keep track of the time they spend on projects for several clients. ‘’We first worked with Freshbooks, a Canadian platform for time management and tracking. Their platform got an update which caused the timer to not be compatible with Apple anymore. So we decided to switch’’.
“You can definitely say keeping track of time is very important here at culd, as it makes sure we can offer clear invoices.”
Due to this, we started using Teamleader about half a year ago. Steffan says that they mainly use the CRM tool to manage hours and projects worked on. It offers them the possibility to keep track of and evaluate the spent hours.
‘’We not only spend our time on a single project for clients but also have customers who we work with on a regular basis”, Steffan explains. “Examples of these clients are several webshops. They might need online web adjustments as they go, depending on the supply and demand they sense in their markets. We invoice these kinds of tasks at an hourly rate as the work effort that is put into them fluctuates. You can definitely say keeping track of our time is very important here at culd., as it makes sure that we can offer clear invoices. It makes sure budgets are not being exceeded and enables us to evaluate fixed-price projects when they’re finished, to estimate future projects more accurately.’’
“We can focus on what we’re good at: creating the best custom-made solutions in online and offline communication for our clients.”
Teamtracker for a winning formula
‘’We first started working with the Chrome extension and timer Teamleader is offering. Long story short; the extension didn’t provide us with what we needed. Luckily, this is where Teamtracker came to the rescue. One of the Teamleader sales agents told us about the desktop app and timer. We have been using it ever since and it helps us do what’s needed: efficiently log the hours we spend on tasks and projects in Teamleader’s CRM so we can focus on what we are good at: creating the best custom-made solutions in online and offline communication for our clients’’.
Curious about Teamtracker yourself?
We put a lot of effort into how we can further improve our way of tracking time! We value feedback and like to stay in touch with users like culd. to discover how we can constantly bring Teamtracker to the next level. To do so, we’re working on annual subscription plans and time tracking based on tasks or to do’s in your Teamtracker account instead of projects.
