Thank you for reading Tears in Rain! I appreciate it. For those of you who don’t know, this publication is connected to my YouTube channel of the same name. Extra essays come here, but I want to open the publication to anybody who wants to write for it.

Tears In Rain is dedicated to story, primarily works of fiction. If you have a relevant story that matches our guidelines below, submit your user name and unpublished draft link to andywalser18@gmail.com. Unpublished stories are preferred.

CONTENT GUIDELINES

First and foremost, a story must come first. I’m willing to be flexible on what this means, but if a story isn’t at the forefront, then your article isn’t for us. The type of story doesn’t matter. It can be a personal essay about selling your first short story, an article that examines a certain aspect of a TV show or movie (like this article on genre), or a book review.

Tears In Rain is a publication about fiction, not of it. Please do not submit your short fiction or long fiction for publication. It will not be considered. Now that we’ve established that, let’s look at a few other guidelines:

- Please submit clean drafts. If the story’s good I’ll help work with you to fix it but I’m not a replacement for Grammarly.

- Articles should have a clear point of view and argument.

- Articles should have a clear structure and be easy and enjoyable to read.

- No hate of any kind. Even if you’re trying to write an article about a movie that grates against your eyes as you watch it, you must be respectful.

- Have some passion! We want to celebrate stories here, and at the heart of the celebration is joy and passion.
