When I sat down to write this teaser, I tried to find an angle on how to begin. My first thought was: I identify as a creative…
… and then I interrupted myself, thinking of Lin’s article.
You see, when I’m asked to describe myself, one thing I always tell people is: I’m creative.
Creativity runs like a red thread through my life. From those early days of drawing to art classes in school, from reading countless books to writing assignments, and even writing a novella when I was 14.
Then there was learning how to knit and sew in school. Later, in my adult life, I did a brief course on clothing design, and actually made the clothes too. I even designed my first wedding dress, which my then mother-in-law sewed.
But I’ve dabbled in many other things: wood carving, greeting cards, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, painting, and self-publishing books. In…
