We’ve completed yet another exciting month of high-quality history writing at Teatime History. I want to thank all the writers for your submissions, for helping us maintain our vision, and our readers for your support.

Without your encouragement, we wouldn’t be here. We’ll continue focussing on serving our readers with authentic historical stories and be a part of Medium’s Boost Program. Our rejection rates have significantly dropped. We’re on the right track for producing Boost-worthy stories.

Medium trusts us, and we’ll continue to repay the faith placed in our pub.

Unlike the previous months, the boost insights won’t be detailed; you can check out January’s if you need more information. However, you have to remember one critical aspect of the program.

Focus on the reader.

Ask yourself what value my story provides to the reader. Reader-centric stories that connect are more likely to be selected by the curation team. Your ideas should be clear, and content shouldn’t be generic.

Focus on your editing and the essay’s flow. Review your draft as an impartial reader, and see if you want to read the story had someone else written it. This will improve your chances of nomination and boost.
