Welcome to the monthly edition of Medium and Teatime History. We’ve completed yet another month of exciting history writing on Medium. Teatime History has crossed 4000 followers, and the publication is reaching more readers than ever before.

Medium’s Boost Program is evolving, and some of you may have noticed that the criteria for being boosted have become stricter. As I discussed last month, the average acceptance rate continues to be lower than before.

Some regularly boosted writers are seeing a drop in their acceptance rate, while others have multiple boosts. I’m here to help you navigate the changes and share what works for this publication. Despite the record low in nomination acceptance, we’ve had 22 boosts this month, which is just one shy of our all-time 23-boost record!

So, what is the secret sauce? In this edition, we’ll discuss specific examples of what's working so that you can strategize accordingly. But before we proceed, here is a word for writers looking to join the pub. Please ensure you read the Submission Guidelines and share a writing sample that meets the quality standards required for the pub. Merely sharing your profile or short-form essays is insufficient.
