Install mLocate Command Utility on Ubuntu Linux!
mLocate utility will enable a new command “locate” in Ubuntu Linux. The LOCATE command is almost similar to the FIND command but has some unique changes in its function.
You can install the mLocate Command Utility using the command:
$ sudo apt install mlocate
How to use it!
You can use the locate command to find the files on your system!
Basic Syntax is,
$ locate Your_File_Name
$ locate Example.txt
The above command will print the location of the file in the terminal.
You can find all the available options on mLocate command by using,
$ locate — — h
Remove mLocate Utility:
Use the command,
$ sudo apt remove mLocate
