Recently, Linux Torvalds updated his blog stating that he is getting a large number of pull requests for Kernel 5.5. On the other hand, Linux Kernel 5.4 which is at the developing stage, its release candidate version 8 has been made available for download from Linux Kernel.
As the expectation for Kernel 5.5 increasing day-by-day, we very soon can expect Linux Kernel 5.4 Stable Version on our Linux systems. However, for now, Linux Kernel 4.-rc8 is available for release which testers can make use of.
