How Much Will Apple Improve the iPhone SE?
We will know soon
So the Apple tip-mongers are expecting a new iPhone SE to be announced on Wednesday next because Tim Cook recently chirped “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family” on X.
Though the new family member could be the humanoid dusting robot that I keep begging him to build. I sure hope so!
Let’s say it is the new SE. Disappointing to me, but Apple may have different priorities. People have opined that a new SE will get Apple Intelligence (Duh!), Face ID, and will be larger. All that would cost money, but Apple almost certainly wants to keep the price down and those upgrades could bring it up to $499.00 or more.

I’m wondering how much Apple can afford in SE upgrades. The camera on the current SE is weak, but upgrading that might add another $100.00 — which seems too much to me. While many prognosticators expect a larger screen, quite a few people prefer smaller And larger costs more. Some people like Touch ID and a Home button; maybe Apple will keep those. Battery life? Bigger batteries add more…
