Is This the Mac Apple Said They’d Never Make?
If it is, I want it
A few days back, I wrote about not wanting a folding phone. It simply wouldn’t hit any buttons for me.
But a rumored folding 18.8 inch iPad or touch enabled Mac? I’d want that, folding or not. Especially if it’s a Mac. Why? Because then I would have all that I need in my iPad and all that I need from my Mac in a much bigger screen without buying another monitor. Even if the price would make my eyes water, I could trade in my M4 Mac Mini and my M4 iPad and hopefully get closer to something I could buy without feeling guilt.
Well, without overwhelming guilt.
I’d want it with something like the Apple Magic Keyboard, which wouldn’t need to fold, but should be able to support the beast like the iPad versions do now.
Ideally, I’d want 32GB of RAM and at least 512GB of storage. Except for the folding part, I can’t see why this would be any more expensive than a similarly configured macBook. So what does folding add? A thousand or…
