My Struggle With Xcode Continues

But there is hope on the horizon

I’m a busy boy. Well, a busy, going-silver-haired old man. I’m retired, in my mid-70s, fortunate to be physically pretty healthy, and fortunate to not have to worry a lot about money. Part of what keeps me busy is household chores — my wife is partly disabled and isn’t able to contribute to that work, so I do quite a bit of it.

But I do have spare time for myself. I fill that time writing here at Medium, playing Scrabble and Upwords with one of my daughters, reading, exercising, learning Spanish, and — sporadically — learning Xcode.

I’ve written before about my struggles with Xcode.

In that post, I chalked most of my difficulties up to my weird brain. That has truth a-plenty, but more recently I tried again because I am stubborn and I do not like the taste of defeat.

And I failed again.
