Did you hear about Apple getting caught with really nasty stuff in their app store that apparently was designed to steal Bitcoin? Yeah, it’s true, and there are headlines aplenty to be seen.

Hoo-boy, the Apple haters loved that one! Here’s just one.

The headline adorns an article that quickly says a bit more:

Apps distributed through both Apple and Google’s app stores are hiding malicious screenshot-reading code that’s being used to steal cryptocurrency, the cybersecurity software firm Kaspersky reported today. https://www.theverge.com/news/606649/ios-iphone-app-store-malicious-apps-malware-crypto-password-screenshot-reader-found

Yeah, BOTH Apple and Google.

But, hey, shame on both of them. And no, neither of them were hacked, the malicious code arrived with several apps that got by their screening processes.

And no, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the developers of those apps had any deliberate part in…
