Rumors of Apple Intelligence Stuffed Into the Apple Watches?

Impossible? Maybe not.

I love the Apple rumor mills. Not because I expect most of them to be true, but I get a kick out of knee-jerk reactions. For example, this tidbit about Apple Watches with AI powers.

Apple Watch Could Get Apple Intelligence And A visionOS-Inspired Redesign

My first reaction was an explosive “In a watch??” while my knee jerked dramatically.

That knee jerk could have been a remnant of my recent sciatica problem, which does seem to be healing nicely in spite of my doctor’s opinion that it would not.

Anyway, my second thought was “Gosh, son, the Watch already does some pretty snazzy AI stuff, don’cha know?” I was embarrassed a bit by my brain having to point that out to me, but it wasn’t being sarcastic or mean, so I felt okay.

Some of the AI stuff my watch does:

• AFib detection and elevated heart rates
• Fall detection
• Sleep tracking
• The S9 uses a Neural Engine to detect that double-tap…
