TECH AND ME
Tea Rationing and 3 Tech Fusses
My mum-in-law and our maid got into some kind of kerfuffle over tea leaves.
Both of them have taken to hiding some tea leaves in different corners of our kitchen so that the other can’t find their stash.
At the center of the controversy is my husband; who demands sweet tea from the maid all day. He’s under stress because of our younger daughter’s 10th Board exams, for which he is helping her prepare.
When my daughter and her teacher — my husband — are in the zone, the teacher wants his tea!
My mum-in-law wants her son to drink less sugary tea. Our maid wants her boss to have tea whenever he asks for it.
I agree with both the maid and my mum-in-law.
I drink coffee and am not affected by my mom-in-law’s attempt at tea rationing.
Honestly! She should be hiding the sugar, not the tea. It’s the sugar that causes the problems she’s afraid of.
As this problem is outside my Zone of Control, I am hiding here in my room and typing this.
In this room, there are limited things I can photograph and talk about. So I’m picking three products that have issues that bother me.

Apple Watch.
Why is the flashlight on Watch so slow to light up? I can say, “Let there be light… ta dum de dum de dum da da”… before it lights up.

Sharper Image Percussion Massager
Why won’t the ring of light at its base turn off? That baby’s supposed to help you sleep, massaging knots and aches away, not keep you awake with a blue light.
If you manage to avoid the blue light ring, the digital LED number shines a nasty light into your I’m trying to fall asleep! brain.
