We Want Your Honest Reviews, but Not Too Honest!

When unbiased and honest reviews are rejected

I received an email this morning from the shop where I bought a new computer last month. They like ‘unbiased and honest reviews’, it said. So I thought I’d share my tuppenceworth.

I love my new PC, but I’ve had a problem loading old software, which might be useful information to others who have ambitions to do the same thing.

Here’s the email request I received…

At Feefo we believe that people should see unbiased and honest reviews on the internet from real customers like you. Currys also believe this and shared your contact details with us following your purchase on Sunday 09 Mar, 2025.

Your review will be displayed on the Currys website, Feefo’s own website and other websites that Feefo works with.

I left a product review as requested. You can see from the screengrab above that it’s in the right section of the form. They justified not publishing it by saying my review was in the wrong section of the form.

I gave the product five stars - an excellent rating. So thought I was offering good and useful feedback.
