I suck at diversity.

This is my first Medium post, and it’s going to be a doozy. This was too long for a Twitter rant, so I’m just going to hammer on my…keyboard for a few minutes. Who needs editing? ¶ When it comes to diversity, I fuck up a lot. This post is going to make me seem like an asshole, but I’m an asshole that’s slowly learning how to be better, and I want you to take a shortcut and learn from my mistakes. ¶ I’m a white woman in tech. I know how to create scalable infrastructures, I can write code to do what needs to be done, but I’m not going to be able to tell you how to fix the diversity problem.
