Electrical and Bio-Engineer Turned Social Good Founder

Being an electrical engineer is pretty cool. Then becoming a bio engineer and working at Pfizer and Merck, even cooler. But in 2011, Kimberly Bryant founded Black Girls Code — making her about as cool as can be, and this week’s #WCW.

She can be found on Twitter, and you should definitely check out Black Girls Code. It’s expanded to more than 10 cities (internationally) and provides girls of color with a fun and supportive community to pursue technological studies.
