There are many innovative and new features in MacOS. I’m sure there are some features in here that you haven’t discovered yet.

1. Automatic Dark Mode

This is a feature that’s becoming more and more popular in apps and operating systems: dark mode. It’s not new in MacOS, but what is new is that you now have the option to auto swap between dark mode and light mode in the mornings and evenings. You can turn it on by opening up System Preferences and going to the General tab.

2. Use your iPad as a second display: Sidecar

This is big, especially for professional users. With Sidecar, you can use an iPad as a second display. Instead of spending money on a second monitor or an expensive Wacom drawing tablet, you can now spend that same money on an iPad instead. Sidecar has two main features.

First of all, you can simply use it as an extra screen by dragging a window to your second screen. Very handy if you have some kind of reference document that you’d like to keep in sight.
