US Treasury Payments Go To Terror Groups, Claims Elon Musk!

Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has secured access to Treasury data, including Social Security and Medicare payment systems, sparking fears of potential misuse.

Musk claims that Treasury officers were told to approve all payments, even to fraudulent or terrorist groups, but no evidence has been provided to back this up.

Following DOGE’s data access request, Treasury’s acting Deputy Secretary, David Lebryk, resigned, while Senator Ron Wyden warned of threats to critical government programs.

ChatGPT’s Agent Can Now Do Deep Research For You

OpenAI has introduced Deep Research, a new agentic feature for ChatGPT that autonomously plans and executes multi-step searches to find data. Instead of just generating text, it provides a sidebar summary with citations for reference.

This follows OpenAI’s Operator tool and Google’s Project Mariner. Deep Research is now available for Pro users with limited access to others.

However, OpenAI warns it may sometimes hallucinate or struggle with fact-checking.
