AliHealth launches door-to-door COVID-19 testing service

AliHealth announced today that it has joined professional institutions to increase on-site nucleic acid testing services based upon the previous online appointment of COVID-19 nucleic acid testing services.

It is understood that this new door-to-door nucleic acid testing service covers 9 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shijiazhuang, Baoding, and Yiwu.

From this day forth, users in these above 9 cities can simply open the AliHealth “Yi Lu” APP, search for “nucleic acid testing” to enter the page and click on “onsite testing” to check whether there are onsite testing services nearby.

If so, any customers can purchase and make an appointment with the address, complete the appointment after confirmation by customer service.

At that time, professionals in protective gear will come to you to take samples. Users can also search for “nucleic acid testing” on Alipay to find out-of-home nucleic acid testing services and make an appointment. “Considering that low temperatures will continue in many areas, we are promoting service coverage in more cities to address the real needs of more people,” said Yu Dong, head of the medical examination/inspection industry in Alibaba.

AliHealth began in October 2014 on its integration of pharmaceutical e-commerce channels (B2B, B2C, O2O), and has now covered five major business segments, namely self-operated pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical e-commerce platforms, consumer healthcare, traceability and digital healthcare, and Internet healthcare.

Starting in 2018, within just two years, the market value of AliHealth has grown from $7.7 billion USD to $38.7 billion USD, and the future development potential is astounding.
