GAITC 2021: AI Conference in Hangzhou
The 2021 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference (GAITC 2021) was held in Hangzhou on June 5th. This conference brought together leaders in the different fields of the AI industry, to analyze and bring insight to the development of a new generation of artificial intelligence under the perspective of internationalization, forward-looking, and industrialization.
At the conference, Tencent Youtu Lab and Xiamen University Artificial Intelligence Research Institute officially released the “2021 Top Ten Artificial Intelligence Trends”. The trend report predicted the development trends of fields such as 3D vision technology, the digital content industry, AI deep learning algorithms, and artificial intelligence core chips.
In the field of 3D visual technology, with the comprehensive upgrade of traffic bandwidth in the 5G era, the 3D visual applications of 3D virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality with interactive functions will further advance the user experience towards the perfect integration of the virtual to reality.
In the field of NLP, the unsupervised training models of Transformers have continued to dominate various NLP task data sets; in the CV field, the latest MPL method has increased the accuracy of ImageNet’s Top-1 tier through additional unlabeled data sets to 90%+ level for the first time.
It is foreseeable that more and more AI companies will enter a stage of stable efficient operation after the rapid expansion in the early stage.
