Blockworks, on October 12th, a showcase of Blockchain technology transforming Business, Government and Society aims to grow the New Zealand Blockchain Industry.

Blockchain is an emerging general technology with practical applications transforming Business, Government and Society.

“Blockchain technology is fundamentally about increasing speed while decreasing fraud. New Zealand, a tight-knit nation with an incredible sense of community and trust, already has the cultural foundation to be a hotbed for blockchain.

Small nations similar in size are already seeing success in the space. I look forward to learning more about the Kiwi projects in the space and empowering businesses here to achieve the global visibility they deserve on the Blockworks stage.” — Savannah Peterson

Emerging Technology Events Producer, Justin Flitter says “The New Zealand Blockchain industry is growing fast. In order to escalate awareness and adoption, major conferences like Blockworks on October 12th play an important role in developing community and public awareness.”

“I’m delighted to announce that IBM, Air New Zealand and ClearFoundation have joined Microsoft, Centrality.ai, Cryptopia, NZTE, ATEED, NZ Blockchain Association, Storicom and Idealog as sponsors of New Zealand’s Premier Blockchain event”
