Setting up a tech company in one of the most competitive places on earth, is definitely challenging but can also get quite daunting sometimes.

Yes, there are more than plenty of options to choose from when looking to house your baby startup. Yes, there is a vast pool of skills, talent, and contacts to pick from when looking to grow your organisational competencies.

There is one BIG problem that still remains though, and hasn't been tackled effectively yet. Every option is confined by space and time! You need to be present at a certain place on a certain time to benefit from such opportunities.

This problem feels ten times bigger if you are a tech startup like rendeevoo where your resources are limited to one hand, your ecosystem hides numerous uncertainties that will make you throw your operational plan to the bin and start over…again…and again.

all hail the blue Bible!

OK, that’s part of the startup life -especially if you are a loyal advocate of the lean methodology (all hail the blue Bible!) but there is still that but…

What if you could begin your journey to success (or failure) in an environment that is geared to meet your very nature? what if there was a way for you to tap on all that know-how, resources, talent, and contacts without having to compromise your startup’s structure?

What if you could be part of something…virtual, and yet real enough to boost your everything?

I just recently got acquainted with a very promising initiative called Pitchswag. After a short investigation onto their digital profile, I then moved forward and had a warm chat with one of the founders -Emin Turan.

Emil Turan founder of Pitchswag

He explained in detail what is that Pitchswag does, why is different, and why rendeevoo should be part from the very beginning. In a nutshell, these guys offer a virtual incubator where every member can access resources on demand, get in touch with other people, exchange knowledge with others, and do pretty much anything that they would do in a traditional incubator.

Why is that special? simply because the implementation of the project is geared to serve a tech company that has no physical boundaries. This is BIG guys. Think about it for a minute. Why do you have to limit your startup in a physical environment while you can grow inside the environment you belong (digital)?

We are proud to be one of the first ten startups to participate in Pitchswag’s pitch competition, and we can’t feel more excited about that!

We strongly believe that rendeevoo is a perfect fit for Pitchswag simply because we are challenging the status quo of our industry, aiming to disrupt it and utterly tear it apart! Our rebel business nature is extended in our belonging ecosystems as well, that’s why Pitchswag should be our virtual base of operations.

Don’t get me wrong though, Pitchswag is not about rebel startups only. it’s about AWARE startups that also feel similarly with us here in rendeevoo-land.

So, if you are a fellow entrepreneur (or wannapreneur even better) then I personally think you should check Pitchswag and have them as your first point of reference when it comes to structuring your operations properly.

Having said that, I will follow up here with another post in the next couple of months with my first conclusions from this whole initiative. Until that day comes though, you can follow Pitchswag on Twitter and look up for #P2PLondon tag for information about the pitch competition.

Oh yeah, and…merry pitch-mas everyone ☺
