Who runs the world? Ladies in tech 🙌
In cooperation with the women network “Women in Big Data” and “AWS”, we hosted the “Women in Big Data — P7S1 x AWS” afterwork event in our headquarters in Unterföhring this week.
It’s a perfect match!
The goal of the women's network is to increase diversity in data & analytics as well as in the broader field of tech and to develop leaders through technical training, career development, mentoring, and networking.
Also, at P7S1 we focus on developing and hiring female tech talent in a field that is still dominated by male colleagues. It is important to us to ensure a diverse workplace and to create awareness that the tech industry is as well designed for women as it is for men.
Get connected and inspired!
Besides giving insights on how technology empowers the entertainment industry, and great career development topics (including the chance to win a mentoring session), the event was all about bringing together many aspiring women and creating a room for them to get connected, inspired, and above all having a good time. The guest list included about 100 (young) professionals from the broader field of tech as well as some internal female colleagues from our Tech & Data teams.
The afterwork event started with a communal snack and connect, where the participants already got the chance to get to know each other, have a first chit-chat, and were able to take some snapshots of the evening in our photo corner.
Meet our speakers
👉 Nicole Agudo Berbel, Chief Distribution Officer Seven.One Entertainment Group welcomed our guests also from ProSiebenSat.1’s side. Besides giving some insights on the development path of a media company into a digital company, Nicole also shared her very inspiring career development story from the very beginning to Chief Distribution Officer who is mainly responsible to maximize the reach of our entertainment brands.

👉 In their talk about “Tech x Entertainment” Pavlo Voznenko, CTO of Seven. One Entertainment GmbH and Nahia Orduna, Solutions Architecture Manager at AWS gave insights about their cooperation, and how the second screen experience helps to make our shows immersive and empowers our consumers by allowing them to be part of the show.
👉 From tech to self-development: External P7S1 coach and psychologist Mona Maria-Winkler took our guests on a journey to more resilience in our jobs and beyond.
👉 Quiz time and time to query the shared knowledge. Three winners had a chance to win a mentoring session with mentors from ProSiebenSat.1 and AWS.
“A room full of people wanting to connect and grow — inspires me every time… And, supporting others in developing and growing their individual career path, with passion and resilience (both also topics of the event!), is an essential part I love about my role.
The last point on the agenda was ending the day just right with some dance vibes by DJ Alma, drinks over the roofs in Munich, more interesting conversations and exchanges, and above all great women who all have something in common: their passion for technology and their support for each other.
