The Writer’s Glove — Honest Review with NO affiliate link (And Alternatives)
First Impressions
This sentence is the first thing I’m typing with The Writer’s Glove. So you’re getting my first impressions.
I don’t feel my keyboard as much as I usually would with my bare fingers. Tight gloves are still gloves. But I don’t seem to be making more typos while wearing them as my fingertips are not noticeably bigger and prone to hitting unwanted keys.
The tightness though… we’ll see how it evolves, but when first putting them on they did feel too tight around my wrists. And I don’t have large wrists.
I can still feel the bumps on my F and J keys.
A Month Later
I got used to them!
They definitely solve the problem of having cold hands. Yet it never gets to a point where my hands feel too hot.
I still prefer typing with bare hands; a tight pair of gloves is still a pair of gloves. They can only feel almost as good as nothing. (Much like condoms.) That being said, I’d rather type with the Writer’s Glove than with cold hands, so I use them whenever needed.
And my wrists don’t feel overly tight anymore. Maybe those gloves need a bit of “breaking in” like leather shoes.
